Blush on – tips & must have’s!

Hellow Girls!

The party/festive season is here and all you make up lovers are all set to look drop dead gorgeous!

Let me take this chance to introduce you all to a very important part of Make-up – The Blusher!

A blush on is usually used to add color to your face, by color I do not mean “looking like a joker” color. But color that make you not white, yet dewy, sun kissed and beautiful. Blusher also helps you to shift focus to your face’s best features, and help change the shape of your face.

It important to invest in a good blush on brush with soft tip, and good blusher brands safe for your face.

Like I always say, start with small quantity for one time application, observe how it makes your face look and gradually move to advanced quantity & shades.

Here is where you need apply the blusher based on the shape of your face.

Now, are my picks for Wheat-ish skin tones from my favorite make-up brand MAC.

These 2 shades are best for the Indian – medium skin tone, If you use a MAC base then these shades are suitable for anyone from the shade of NC 35 to NC 45. However a trial is a must to know if it is really suiting your face.

The shade “GLEEFUL” is a mineralize blusher of a pink tone. Suitable for pink color group eye shadows and lipsticks. I use it with heavy eyes and light pink lip shades.

The “PEACH TWIST” is Sheer tone shimmer blush, this just sounds loud, whereas it is pretty mild for day wear. I use it with shades of brown on the eyes & reds or nudes for the lips.

Both these shades are suitable to be teamed up with loud or mild eyes & lips.

Available at all MAC stores only.

Price: Approx Rs.1500/- (Not sure cos bought them a year ago!)

PS: Never keep both eye & lip make-up loud on colors, if you have loud color on your eyes try to keep the lip colors very subtle and vice-versa.

So go ahead, color yourself pretty!
