Neem for Acne blues!

Now this post is coming from someone who extremely experienced & honest acne victim, troubled by it for over 15 years (Yes me! not anymore though & hoping it would never ever come back!!).

I have been there, done that when it comes to trying various chemical or herbal remedies and cures. Acne is very common but in some cases its very fatal as well. My own experience has made me understand that all allopathic treatment is of a damage control nature, it comes into the picture when the damage has begun and needs to be controlled or cured with immediate effect. Hence its fast but it’s also very harsh. By allopathic I mean all the isotretinion medication oral or topical, benzoyl peroxides and clindamycin. This kinda treatment is much-needed to stop the outburst of pimples but once the purpose is served it only further damages your skin and its texture.

On the other hand, The herbal treatments are slow and may not suffice as a damage control tool, they have to be used when you have time and a good practitioner on your hands.

Since Neem, well known for its antibacterial properties, helps in controlling acne and pimples, and their recurrence. When combined with Turmeric, it effectively eliminates acne-causing bacteria. Here is a magic recipe I have arrived at over the past few years to cure current acne condition, avoid getting acne and improving the skin texture and tone over time. It very simple to implement and very effective provided you are consistent with it.Β  If you follow the below steps sincerely you will start seeing changes in your skin condition within the first week.

1. Himalaya Neem face wash – This is green color face wash with neem and turmeric as its main ingredients, this is by far the best neem face wash I have come across because it does not leave your skin dry and flaky. This has to be a part of your daily face washing regime which is twice a day or more. it is also very affordable as the big tube cost around Rs.115 only.

2. Himalaya Neem face pack: Now this is like a magic potion, again the main ingredients are neem and turmeric, but it has a slightly oily base so it ready to use, spreads smoothly on the face and once you wash it off after 15 mins post application, your face is oil free, glowing and smooth. It seems to suck out all the impurities and extra sebum off your skin. This can be applied 2 times a week with a gap of 3 days, depending on your skin condition. Now, since I hardly have any pimples I use it once a week and see great results each time.

3. Himalaya Neem capsules: Now this is a keeper for all your skin problems not just acne, it caters to skin infections and allergies also. This is neem in capsule form, you can start with 1 capsule after breakfast and 1 after dinner. It helps in cleaning toxins from your body. 1 box costs around Rs.90 and lasts a month so its not at all expensive compared to your other skin creams and medication. You should use it for atleast 6 months and trust me you will love the skin you are in!

In case you are looking at milking more results off this regime and look fabulous all the way,Β  just add the practice of Surya Namaskar to it.

This will help you get rid of pimples, acne, acne marks and improve the skin condition, texture, even color and tone.

Its time you have a happy skin!

PS: This treatment does not interfere with your medication of any kind and does not have any side effects as it is a natural treatment. However if you are skeptical do check with your doctor!
